Shawn’s journey in picture framing began in 2000 in Berkeley, California, where he quickly established himself as a skilled artisan. His background in art, combined with years of hands-on experience, has shaped his unique approach—one that blends aesthetics, preservation, and storytelling. Over the years, he has worked with renowned artists, collectors, and institutions, refining his expertise in archival framing, custom finishes, and museum-quality presentations.

Among the many highlights of his career, Shawn had the privilege of working with Robin Williams on his personal collection. Not only did he frame pieces for Mr. Williams, but one of Shawn’s own creations was also selected for the legendary actor’s private collection—a moment that remains deeply meaningful in his career. Additionally, Shawn has collaborated with a variety of well-known artists and collectors, always maintaining a focus on craftsmanship and discretion.
