Since joining Walter Adams Framing a year and a half ago, Spenser Staudenmaier has brought a deep passion for art and preservation to their dual role as Inventory Manager and Designer. With a background in both studio art and art history, their approach to custom framing is rooted in a genuine appreciation for the stories that each piece of artwork carries.

A Passion for Art and Custom Framing

“My journey into custom framing started back in 2018,” Spenser explains. “I was fascinated by the idea that every form of creation has a story—and I wanted to find out how to preserve that.” This curiosity sparked a hands-on journey through several frame shops over the years, where they refined their skills and developed a strong foundation in the craft before landing at Walter Adams Framing.

What stands out most in their day-to-day work is the collaborative process with clients. “My favorite aspect of the job is hearing what clients have to say about their artwork, as well as using my artistic prowess to help create something the client can enjoy. ”
