Scaling design: Partnering with Acrylicize
When a project requires hundreds of custom frames delivered on a tight deadline, designers need a framing partner who can make the process seamless. At Walter Adams Framing, we set out to do just that with our largest project to date, delivering almost 100 custom frames for a high-profile client within a few weeks. The project was contracted by Acrylicize, the multidisciplinary creative studio responsible for the artwork and signage. While Acrylicize led the creative vision, Walter Adams Framing was entrusted to execute that vision and transform it into physical form—at scale and on schedule. Spoiler Alert: we did exactly that.
Walter Adams and Acrylicize: A Partnership Built on Trust
Acrylicize is a multidisciplinary studio based in London and New York, composed of artists, designers, creatives, and craftsmen. They specialize in creating and curating bespoke artworks, installations, and schemes for global clients, using art as a vehicle for storytelling and brand expression. Their work celebrates culture and identity, supporting the arts at both a global and local scale.

For this project, Acrylicize required a framing partner who could match their creative ambition with technical precision and operational reliability. Walter Adams Framing was brought in not simply to fabricate frames, but to solve a complex production challenge—one that demanded volume, speed, consistency, and careful coordination.
According to Emily Castro, the Senior Project Manager at Acrylicize, that trust was well placed:
“Walter Adams has been a dream to work with — super responsive, super flexible, and always conscious of deadlines. They’re communicative, and more than capable of problem-solving as projects develop. The work they’ve done for us on this project has been stunning — our client couldn’t be happier.”
Scaling Up Without Sacrificing Quality
Producing 92 custom frames on a tight deadline requires infrastructure, flexibility, and smart resource management. One of the key factors that made this project possible was our ability to leverage shared resources with Capricorn Framing.

Walter Adams Framing and Capricorn Framing share the same ownership, allowing both studios to collaborate behind the scenes when projects demand additional capacity. For this project, Walter Adams Framing utilized Capricorn Framing’s studio space, equipment, and skilled team members to help meet the accelerated timeline, while maintaining a unified workflow and consistent quality standards.
The collaboration reflects a strategic advantage: the ability to draw on the strength of two established framing studios when scale and timing require it. For clients and designers, that translates into reliability, speed, and peace of mind.
A True Solutions Provider for Designers
We ensure that large-scale projects are handled with the same care and craftsmanship as a single bespoke piece. We make it a priority to be a true solutions provider for designers by understanding how designers work, how projects evolve, and how critical it is to have partners who can adapt in real time.
Whether a project involves conservation framing, large-scale production, specialty materials, or tight installation schedules, we approach each challenge with the same mindset: How do we make this easier for the designer?
That approach applies equally to large institutional projects and smaller, highly personal commissions. Scale doesn’t change the level of care. It simply changes the logistics, and we excel at managing both.
A Milestone Project—and a Clear Message
Completing 92 frames on a tight deadline marks a major milestone for Walter Adams Framing, but it also reinforces what designers already know: that this is a studio built to handle complexity with confidence.
Through thoughtful collaboration with Acrylicize, strategic use of shared resources with Capricorn Framing, and an unwavering commitment to clear communication and quality, we delivered a project that met every expectation.
Big or small, every designer gets the same hands-on support and expertise. That’s the difference of working with custom framers who make it easy to bring your vision to life.
